If you've got someone in your family who's music mad, may I suggest the ideal present? My novel University of Death takes a look at what's happening in the music industry today, where creativity and technology collide. It's received great reviews from magazines including Record Collector, Metal Hammer, and Music Tech as well as from industry commentators and hit songwriters.
For a limited period, you can buy a copy of the print book at a discount of 25%, for £7.49 (plus P&P). This is the best price ever for this book (and given the slim margins in it, that's as good as it's likely to get). Each book is printed on demand and sent by post, so please order early to ensure delivery by Christmas.
If you prefer to read on the iPad or iPod, there's also an ebook available for £2.99. That's in PDF format, so you can read it on any device or print it out to read on paper.
You can find out more about University of Death, and sample some free chapters here.
My book about Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010, and my book about social networking (Facebook, Twitter and more) for the over 50s are also out now and available from all good bookshops.
OTOH an epub version would be quite nice for phones other ebook devices.
I'll be considering my options regarding this book next year, including alternative ways of distributing and/or selling it. That might include discontinuing some of the current formats, as well as introducing new ones.
